“The deadline to request that an absentee ballot be mailed is no later than 5 p.m. on the 6th day before the election. Otherwise, an absentee ballot can be picked-up until and including on Election Day. However, the ballot must still be received by the Supervisor of Elections no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day if the voted ballot is to count.” – Florida division of Elections 2014
If you go to a voting location (early or otherwise) you must “surrender” your ballot which should be destroyed. You will then vote at the location as if you were never sent an absentee ballot. The only exception to this rule is if you visit the supervisor of elections office itself located at 119 West Kaley Street, Orlando, FL 32806. At that address you may turn in your absentee ballot during voting hours without having it destroyed.
